I finally got the answer to that question when I moved to Brooklyn where Pina Bausch's "Tanztheater Wuppertal" performed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. I loved the super sexy, superhuman cast of Tanztheater Wuppertal, but I...more also was felt lucky to have seen Pina Bausch's solo performaces as well, she moved with a grace that has been missing from dance for sometime. But it was her choreography that inspired me, made me laugh till I cried. I'll allays think of her as the choreographer who replaced the toe-shoe with stilettos, I'll miss her vision.
