In 2006 Mandy Moore and Kristi Kaylor founded Mblem, a premium lifestyle brand composed of fashion forward, contemporary knitwear. The brand debuted at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and hundreds of the best specialty boutiques Nationwide as a Vintage Tee-shirt Collection and enjoyed strong retail selling and significant press coverage as a strong collection earning Mandy exceptional credibility in the contemporary market place.

In 2007 Mblem expanded into a sophisticated and chic collection that boasts elevated quality and attention to detail as an elite collection of dresses, tunics, tops, and knit-pants. The new collections are a culmination of Mblem’s slow, steady build as a premium fashion brand over the past few years.

The new direction Mblem has taken in regards to styling, details and design has solidified its presence in the fashion community. This collection is a reflection of where Mandy is in her life. She has grown a lot both as an individual and a designer over the past few years and in turn so has Mblem.

As a business women first, Mandy felt it was important to be intimately involved in design decisions, marketing and overall business strategy. It is not just about lending her name to a brand.

Each season Mandy meets with the Mblem design team to discuss her vision for the upcoming season’s collection. Mandy incorporates her favorite vintage styles, eye for fashion and desired color palettes, Mandy is hands on and involved throughout every step of the design process. Mandy also approves each sample created by and decides which pieces make it into the next season’s Mblem Collection.

At the direction of Mandy Moore, Mblem continues to expand its collection every season with the ultimate vision of being a full Lifestyle Brand. Mandy strongly believes brands must connect to the customer on an emotional level – creating a brand is like telling a story and creating a lifestyle.
