Some may say that Mark Townsend has a blessed life. Nine years ago, he walked into Orbe’s NY salon and met the manager who offered him a tour that ended in the chance of a lifetime – to work with Orbe’s team of assistants. After being introduced to Tom Cruise by another mentor, Sally Hershberger, his career took off with the Hollywood jetset and put him into the big league. Since that time, Mark has followed in the footsteps of his mentors by establishing himself as one of Hollywood’s most sought after hairstylists. Today, Mark lives between New York and Los Angeles working with his A-List clientele on site, as well as at Byron Williams Salon in LA and Sally Hershberger’s Salon in NY. Still, he appreciates it all and realizes his good fortune. “I have the perfect life,” muses Mark, “It’s different every day.”
