America's Shoe Expert

Following a successful run as a marketing consultant on Wall Street, in a cinematic move I parlayed a life-long obsession with shoes into a career. I am now Miss Meghan, America's Shoe Expert, the shoe therapist and doyenne and fashion authority of all things shoe.

My first article, a Time Out editorial on six emerging shoe designers, jump-started my career. After twenty five years of fascinating over shoes, I penned the fashion tome, The Perfect Fit: What Your Shoes Say About You. It wasn't long before supermogul Tyra Banks became obsessed with my feel-good philosophy about shoes and booked me as an expert on her then-new talk show. Isaac Mizrahi proclaimed me the Shoe Psychologist. After that, my shoe knowledge was undisputed.

From my television show Shoe Therapy ™ on the Home Shopping Network to my podcasts series Shoe are You? ™ on iTunes, I dish on not only the latest trends and the hottest new designers, but on how shoes make a person feel and the impact they have on confidence, mood and body. Thousands of women across the globe have poured out their shoe stories to me, making me a one-stop focus group for what women need and want when it comes to shoes.

I have appeared on the TODAY show talking about the flip flop flap and the five basic shoes every woman needs; Tyra dishing hot shoe trends; Isaac Mizrahi delving into audience members shoe choices; Extra! dispensing celebrity shoe secrets; the CBS Early Show discussing The Shoe Diet; Mike and Juliet delivering shoe-strology, and teaching Rachael Ray on-air that walking in Stilettos is just like Pilates.
