Fujitsu LifeBook U810 Notebook
3 people recommended this item
Description
I don't own one, sadly, as I am a poor college student -- but my friend does. It's a pretty awesome tablet PC, with a good battery life, and the way the swivel is designed doesn't make you nervous about breaking it. The graphics program that comes with it is also pretty awesome when used with the stylus - photoshop-grade, I'd say.

Animal Crossing for Nintendo DS
3 people recommended this item
Description
Animal Crossing DS is like living out a tiny life of capitalism in a town full of animals. That is to say, it's insanely fun. You'll spend most of your time digging up ancient artifacts, catching bugs, planting fruit trees in order to pay off your hefty mortgage, but the inhabitants of the town are fun to talk to and have their own persona drama going on between each other.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Description
This game is amazing on the Wii. Not only are the graphics beautiful, the game loaded with stuff to keep you busy for a good long while, and a compelling storyline (I love Midna), but it makes full use of the Wii's capabilities.

Players Hand Book 3.5
2 people recommended this item
Description
There's a less expensive version of 3.5, however, I feel I should do a recommendation based on the release of version 4.0 of D&D. 4.0 is perfect for inexperienced players, beginners, and people unfamiliar with pen and paper rpgs at all -- but it's so simplified that more experienced rpg fans will probably enjoy 3.5 more.

Final Fantasy VII (PS2)
3 people recommended this item
Description
FF7 is probably the most famous Final Fantasy installation to date due to it's engrossing (and pretty bloody deep) storyline, and it's focus on characters, character development, and plot development rather than battling. The story spans 3 discs, and while the graphics aren't amazing, the music and storyline more than make up for them. There are also rumors of Square-Enix possibly updating this game for the PS3.

Sonic Mega Collection (PS2)

Description
Were you a Sega kid? Did you grow up on Sonic instead of Mario? This collection is great because it includes just about every classic Sonic game, from Sonic 2 to Spinball, the way you remember them -- and using the PS2 controls aren't hard to get used to. My only qualm is that Sonic CD is not included, but I'm pretty sure they'll release it eventually. There are also loads of fan extras available -- it's perfect for any Sonic fan (that became introduced to the series outside of Sonic X and the newer 3D games).

Prismacolor Professional Quality Soft Thick Lead Pencils
2 people recommended this item
Description
Having been in the art magnet portion of my high school for a couple of years, I have to say these colored pencils are the best of their quality that are readily available -- to my knowledge, you can find the smaller boxes of Prismacolors at Walmart. The graphite is soft, allowing for easier blending of colors and creation of shades of one's own, as well as color layering in your work. I will say this: they are a bit on the pricey side, but they're worth it for the kind of work they enable you to create.

Lindt White Chocolate Truffles

Description
These are absolutely delicious. The white chocolate coating is sweet, but not at the point where it's gross, and then the soft white chocolate filling is yummy too. They're also not a horribly price for high quality chocolate -- and you can instantly tell the quality difference between these and a regular white chocolate bar.

Lindt Excellence 85% Cocoa Dark Chocolate ( 3.5oz / 100g )

Description
I have a friend that loves this chocolate to death. It's amazingly bitter, but as a dark chocolate fan this is as good as it gets for him. If you like dark chocolate, try it.

Final Fantasy for PS2
4 people recommended this item
Description
This game is lovely. The plot is deep, the characters well-fleshed out and appealing, the game design is beautiful, the leveling up system is awesome and (in my opinion) unique...personally, I loved 10 almost as much as I loved 7. I will say that the love story, as well as the overall dramatic/melancholy tone may not work for some players, but if you can still enjoy a good old rpg where the entire plot isn't 'let's shoot this thing and kill it for the heck of it', or if you're a hopeless romantic, you'll like FF10.
