Simply the best medium sized HD camera on the market. Period. Easy to use, rich in professional features, and versatile enough to shoot anything from goofy stunts to low budget movies. On of my favorite features: shoot on either miniDV tape in SD or P2 Cards in a wide variety of formats. The ability to switch back a forth from tape to solid-state to tape again is invaluable. Add to that the amazing variety of SD and HD formats you can put on the P2 Cards and you have a real killer camera. I have personally shot short films, Internet distributed viral videos, behind-the-scenes videos of multi-million dollar commercials, and just random strangeness with this camera. It is a dream to work with and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a versatile HD camera for professional purposes. Its only downside: a bit unbalanced and bulky for hand held use and can take some getting used to if you want to use it as a hand held camera.
