I have recently been concerned with the toys I give my furry best friend - most of them smell terrible! I was thinking that she probably shouldn't be chewing (for hours, mind you!) on toys that smell toxic. I wasn't sure what else was available, so I started doing a little research, and came across this adorable eco-friendly toy that's a lot healthier for my pooch and the planet. Plus it has fun floppy ears she can chew on - just like she does the real ears of our neighbor's dog. She's a little bold, but she's the best :) (via GoldenPetSupplies.com)

I pride myself on being a great gift-giver, and I smile just thinking about someone opening the perfect present. This brooch makes me smile! A close friend of mine just got this toilet, and I have never heard anyone talk so excitedly about a toilet. I can hardly wait to visit her and see it for myself - if she'll let me near it! Given that she's been talking about her TOTO like it's a new designer handbag, I had to do a little research myself, and it seems she's not alone in her adoration. This is simply gorgeous! As someone who would prefer boring artwork to a boring mirror, I am quite picky about them. People assume I'm not because I have so many mirrors in my home, but they don't realize that those were carefully chosen over many years! And it's not a vanity issue, I don't think I look in the mirror more than most people. But when I do, it makes me happier to be looking into a beautiful mirror that was crafted with such careful attention to detail, and an obvious eye for timeless design as this one was. Winter is definitely here, and this year I will not let it get the best of me! I actually don't mind the cold as much as a lot of people do, I find it kind of refreshing. But I do mind dry skin and air that has me reaching for the lotion and saline spray every morning! I have been meaning to get a really nice humidifier for awhile, and this one has all the perks you could ask for, and it's half price. Ding Ding - I think we have a Winter Winner!!
