Rona has developed a reputation from LA to New York a as a Celebrity Color Expert.    She has created signature colors for some of the most sought after hues for many of our favorite characters from TV and film since the early 90's;  Debora Messing's Iconic Reds, Brooke Sheild's many shades of Brunettes, and Blake Lively's much coveted (New York) Blonde, for Gossip Girl- naming just a few of her trademark shades of color

A true artist who uses hair as her canvas.  Rona's first love growing up was drawing, shading, and dying fabrics,   making her a natural for working with hair color.   A Toronto native, Rona came to LA to study Studio make up and hair.  There she met her husband and partner, Luke O'Connor, with whom in 1992 she opened the beautiful LUKARO Salon in Beverly Hills, California.  

Rona has appeared on numerous make over shows; Extreme Makeover, TLC, A makeover story, How do I Look,  and TotalBeauty.Com.  Coloring the hair of many A-list celebrities on both coasts has earned her a segment on CNN's Road Warriors, where she is sharing beauty travel tips with millions of viewers. She has also been chosen by Allure Magazine as one of the top colorists in the country. Rona has a holistic approach towards beauty.  She believes in beauty from the inside out.
