Wow! The Dolce and Gabbana Mademoiselle chair (designed for Kartell by Phillippe Stark, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana) is incredibly unique! When used in moderation, animal prints are always stylish and fun. This chair is so different because it mixes together the classic, the luxury, the modern, and the innovative. If I could afford to have one in my home, I would... But for now, I'll just have to reccommend it to those of you who can! Yesterday was my birthday and my husband gave me this beautiful Alvar Aalto vase by Iittala because he knows I love modern designs... and flowers! Although sold on AllModern.com, my husband originally got the idea from reading a modern decor blog called Unique Home Decor. This is the address if you'd like to take a look: http://uniquedecor.blogspot.com/ There's a very well-written post about this crystal Iittala vase and how Alvar Aalto's vases have been timeless modern classics for over 70 years! My husband surprised me with the Iittala vase filled with wild flowers from a farmer's market and they looked absolutely STUNNING. There's so many ways you can arrange the flowers in this vase (and they all look great!), and although it's a large vase, it looks nice filled with a whole bouquet of flowers or a few simple stems. This holiday season, I know I will be grateful for my KitchenAid mixer! I'm recommending the KitchenAid mixer today because it gets extra use during the holidays. I’m already starting bake pumpkin bread, apple pie, and seasonal cookies… and it’s only mid-October! This mixer was recommended to me about a year ago by my sister because of its “professional” performance. She’s into the cooking shows and I think she saw it on TV. Anyway, I bought the KitchenAid mixer on cookware.com and I have enjoyed using to ever since with no problems at all. My recipes come out really well when I use it, I like the different speeds and attachments, and most of all, it’s simple to use. For me, that’s most important. Mine is white, but they also come in different colors so you can match it with your kitchen. It’s definitely a must-have during the holidays… and can be used year round for decades to come! I LOVE my Aeron chair so much that I've already recommended it to all my friends! I use my Herman Miller Loaded Aeron Chair as a computer chair -- and I use it a lot! The price is a little hefty (althought it IS a designer chair), but don't be scared away by it. To be honest, I was skeptical at first, too. I didn't want to pay a lot for the label and not have the chair be comfortable, but once I sat down in it and started using it, I have never once regretted my purchase! This chair is extremely comfortable! I usually have a hard time sitting at the computer for a long time because my back starts to hurt, but with the Aeron chair, my back gets the support it needs and I get to sit pain free ... and you can't put a price on that! In addition to being unbelieveable to sit in, it also gives our computer room a professional, modern look. (via All Modern)

It changes from a crib to a full-size bed (with options in between) so you don't have to go looking for a new bed after your baby outgrows his or her crib. What other piece of children's furniture can your child use from birth through young adulthood?! It's amazing. Plus, it's durable and looks great in the bedroom.
