Bonobos Pants: pluperfects

Description

One of the girls in the office (hi Jamie!) has a crush on the Bonobos founders. I threw both of them out in a dodgeball match. In any case, these are fine pants.

These aren't cheap, but but a nice pair of pants is the kind of purchase that will pay dividends.

Lucky Jeans - Slim Bootleg

Description

It hard to find jeans that fit tall slim guys well. Lucky makes these in a 34 waist, 37" inseam- a rare and beautiful size!

The wash is right on and the bootleg looks good- my favorite pair of jeans at the moment.

Frye Harness 12R boot

Description

My Frye boots are super comfortable and get many a compliment from the ladies. I've had them for about two years and they look good as new.

One piece of advice- get them 1/2 a size smaller than you would usually wear, or a full size smaller if you are from Texas and wear boots without socks.

If I were the kind of guy who used a face moisturizer everyday, this Jack Black stuff would probably be it. But I'm not.

Steve Madden Novo white driving moccasins

Description

What could be more decadent than white loafers? The answer is: nothing.

I guess these aren't really loafers, they're "driving moccasins", but close enough. I got them for a tropical wedding, but they turned out to be super comfortable and versatile. I've worn them out with jeans and with a summer suit, and (I think) I pulled them both off.

You probably shouldn't wear these if you don't actually own a fast car. I drive an suv, but it's standard so that should be enough.

TAG Heuer Kirium Formula 1

Description

There are lots of good arguments against owning an expensive watch and almost no good ones for. But I don't care, I love my Tag.

It's sleek, its cool, and it makes me feel like a big man at parties. It's got digital functions like dual time zones and alarms that make it great for travel, but it still has a classic analog look.

It's hard to find clothes that fit tall guys. I'm 6'4" and 200lbs. If you are in the same boat as me, maybe these recommendations will help.
