I am Wendy Brandes, the owner and designer of Wendy Brandes Fine Jewelry. I came to jewelry after a career in journalism, including the Wall Street Journal, CNN and People.com. My collections are inspired by history and nature, and poison rings and lockets are my specialty. Medieval queens are a major obsession, so check out my Vivat Regina collection for some gorgeous pieces and mini-bios of all the queens…fashionable AND educational! I’m based in New York but I spend a lot of time in Los Angeles, where the fabulous jewelry store Kaviar and Kind carries my line.
