About Me

I've worked with wood most of my life, beginning in 1949 at the age of 15 as a carpenter's helper. I've been a home builder, a cabinet maker and furniture designer and builder. Also along the way, I've been a sailor, a teacher and a fire fighter. I've lived in most of the western states, including Alaska and I lived lin the Philippines on the Island of Luzon.

I have a website known as "The Woodworker's Tool Shop:" where I sell woodworking power tools that I have come to know as the best on the market at the best prices I can find anywhere. If one is looking for a reliable sander, power saw, drill or other tools of the trade, check out my site.

I also have an eBay Store called "Kens Woodcrafts" where I sell creations made in my wood shop. Bowls, vases, pens/pencils, and other items of high quality artistic design made from a variety of woods grown locally and exotic woods from around the world
