Zillur Rahman John participated 34 international theatre and mime festivals around the world. John conducted many international workshops on mime and pantomime art. He also directed solo, duet, trio, group and mimodrama productions in many countries.
Zillur Rahman John has written books on this art form and also contributed more than 200 articles published in the Banglapedia, (the Encyclopedia of Bangladesh.)
John has been honored by the Canadian City Edmonton and received the award "The City of Edmonton Cultural Diversity in the Arts Award 2008".
