the absolute coolest custom kitchens ever. clean modern design using the most beautiful woods & eco-materials found today. all of the drawer hardware is pneumatic making for a really satisfying open-close experience. gorgeous. master-crafted in seattle. hey guess what...they make furniture too.

thoughtful selection of chic letterpress cards from several brands like snow & graham, hello lucky! & more. the girl who runs this site is the sweetest ever. great service, fast shipping & excellent packaging. i highly recommend having a stash of cool birthday cards tucked away at all times. and don't forget to stock up on thank you notes too!

Karl Johnson is a young, 3rd generation cut paper artist who has been commissioned by some of the chicest publications & events - with good reason - he's extremely talented. The 2nd best part? His hand-cut, custom portraits start at just $25. Everyone should have original artwork in their home. Now there's no excuse not to! I'll be commissioning portraits of friends, kids & pets this year for Christmas gifts...

who wouldn't love candles scented like poisonous botanicals like thorn apple, mandrake or absinthe? these make the best gifts, beautifully wrapped in satin boxes with all the finery. candles burn forever & are never sickly sweet or overpowering like your ex...

when you see photos of glamourous homes in glossy shelter magazines do you scope out what the homeowner has on their bookshelves? then this is your list. every volume i choose must have at least 2 of these qualities - engrossing content, beautiful spine or dust jacket, interest of the client, or irony. i always make sure to sneak in a few surprises too, that way you can find out which clients actually read their books. these picks plus great vintage volumes & you're camera ready!
