I refuse to go ride my bike without long sleeves on (I had a horrible fall when I was younger, so I'm a bit paranoid). This jacket? Perfection. Mesh material on my neck and under my arms and down my lateral sides for built-in air conditioning. A pocket on the back for small things. Locking zippers. love.

I'm not one to buy kitchen "uni-taskers," in the words of one Mr. Alton Brown. But an ice cream maker that was on sale for 50% of its original price at my local Williams-Sonoma, (making it cheaper than my tinted moisturizer at Sephora!!) is a must-buy item for me.

Darjeeling tea + milk + sugar = heaven. Try the House Darjeeling from Wayne Tea Salon (one of the best mom and pop tea shops I've been to). It's delicious--subtle and soothing. There's a reason why Darjeeling is called the champagne of teas.
