About Me

Looking back, it was always clear that I was bound to end up in the food world. I grew up in a family where good food was the sacrament and I was drawn toward two seemingly disparate school subjects: science and art. Somewhere along the lines, I realized that I could combine all of those interests by messing around in the kitchen and I’ve been there ever since. After educating myself in the topic through my undergrad studies and sometime abroad in culinary school, I set out on the perfect place with the perfect job. Good timing and a lot of persistence landed me at CHOW and I’ve been a part of the food team ever since. When I am not thinking about food, I dance classical ballet, seek out good music, and hike around the Bay Area.
