Leg Lamp from the Movie Classic: Christmas Story

Updated May 6, 2008

2 people recommended this item

Description

This is the christmas gift that keeps giving - not only is it worth the laughter when the recipient opens it, but it is also a quite fine lamp and conversation piece year round. It's become one of my favorite things in the house - with a place of honor on top of the TV (to make it clearly visible through the front window of course, to make all who pass the house jealous). Stay-Put Suction Bowls - 3pk:

Updated May 2, 2008

1st to recommend

Description

These bowls by MUNCHKIN are great! They really do stay put with the attached suction cup bottom - great for the toddler in your life who might be prone to clear the high chair tray with one swoop of his arm. They seem to stay put on any smooth surface and have an adult friendly tab that allows a quick release very easily with one hand when you are ready to move them. (via Munchkin)

I just found my pair from college and love them as much now as I did then. Plus, they are dual purpose - they block harmful UV rays when outside, and hold my wayward locks of hair back when inside.

A great way to make sure you don't get caught trying to sneak overstuffed and overweight luggage onto an overstuffed and overweight plane on your next trip. Staying under the luggage weight limit will save you time, money, frustration, and having to deal with an even more irritated and irritable airline employee.

bliss lemon+sage body butter

Updated Apr 24, 2008

2 people recommended this item

Description

after a sample from the lux W Hotel in New Orleans, I am hooked on this... it really feels great - hands, feet, elbows, knees, wherever you have dry skin.. just one little smear of this body butter and you'll immediately notice the difference. And I think the light fresh lemon-sage scent is wonderful - and considering I usually buy everything unscented, that's saying a lot for me.

ShowerBow Curtain Expander

Updated Mar 25, 2008

1st to recommend

Description

Okay --- I was very skeptical, especially when I took this plastic contraption out of it's 10x10 box. When I installed it in under 5 minutes, I began to have a little hope, but I wasn't sure. All it took was one shower to make me a believer!!!! Now I list it as one of those products that I never knew how much I needed it until I got it.

I didn't even realize that I felt closed in or claustrophobic in my shower until I experienced how much BETTER I felt with the ShowerBow in place. It really does make the shower feel larger and roomier... no elbows hitting the plastic, no blowing showering curtain with every draft. And in my tiny, tiny, 1930's bathroom, every bit of space counts.

I was also worried about how it would look when not in use, but it is not a problem. It does mostly hide out of the way behind the shower curtain, and the part that shows is minimal.

I love it and so does everyone else who has showered at my house since I've had the ShowerBow in place.

The Babykeeper Infant Restroom Seat

Updated Mar 19, 2008

1st to recommend

Description

Okay --- aside from the fact that this looks like a torture device, I think this could be a great thing to keep kids off the nasty public bathroom floor. Given that it's only designed to be used for short periods of time while mommy or daddy are in the loo, i think it's a much better choice than taking a chance on what nasty germs the little one would pick up standing around in the stall.
