Whilst working in central London as Head of Online Development for one of the UKs leading Business publishers I decided to start a green blog called City Hippy (http://www.cityhippy.net) which was to chart my struggle to live a green and fair life in the city. What a journey that has turned into - starting City Hippy was a life changing moment that thrust me into the broader world of ethical living.

18 months later, when my son was almost one year old, I was lucky enough to join Natural Collection (http:www.naturalcollection.com) as their Head of Marketing. Working for the UKs' leading and award-winning ethical retailer is a dream come true to be honest and I consider myself very lucky to be a part of the greening of our planet.

But we all have a crucial part to play: from changing lightbulbs to helping others take their first green steps. As Gandhi said: Be the change!!!
