About Me

I have spent over 12 years working in the design and construction industry. I started out as a carpenter before obtaining her general contractor’s license and starting my own business. I am San Francisco's only female contractor! I am a huge advocate for green design and apply many of its practices to my own projects.

My love for the environment began at a young age. Growing up in a family of seven I learned very quickly about the value of re-using and recycling. Today I continue to speak and write about ways others can protect our most precious resources. I am very active in my local community and currently sit on the Program Committee for Rebuilding Together San Francisco. I have also appeared on numerous shows on HGTV including, Treasure Makers, Curb Appeal and House Detectives. I also teach construction and Visual Merchandising at City College of San Francisco

In addition to designing spaces and building homes; I maintain a blog called The Goode Life. Through my work I hope to reach as many people as I can; by demystifying the environmental agenda and showing them you don’t have to give up your modern day comforts in order to live green.
