Kishu Charcoal Water Purifying Stick

First to recommend

Description

Say no to plastic bottles, britta filters and unnessary trash with this ancient way to purify your water.

Binchotan White Charcoal has been used in Japan since the Edo period to purify air and water. Binchotan is made from ubame oak wood using traditional methods of controlled burning.

The texture of the charcoal makes it highly absorbent, removing chlorine and other impurities from water. Due to it's alkaline effect, Binchotan naturally ionizes water, softening the taste. It looks very beautiful in a glass jug, and will encourage you to drink more water.

Binchotan water purifying charcoal can be used for three months, then recycled by breaking up into small pieces and adding to your garden soil. (via Kishu Charcoal Water Purifying Stick)
