Ender's Game Box Set - by Orson Scott Card
2 people recommended this item
Description
Orson Scott Card has written in almost as many genres as Isaac Asimov! And he has one advantage over dear Asimov--He thinks in the same manner as the top authority of each genre. Read his horror and you will "hear" a bit of Steven King amongst a great deal of Card. Read his historical novels (emphasis on historical) and you'd swear you'd been there. His religious novels keep you riveted even if you aren't Mormon.
Ender's Game is his jewel. Four books that among them have won innumerable awards. These are not books which have crossed genre, these are books that cause other genres to lose readers.

And for the umpteenth time ever everyone else has to scramble to keep up with Apple.

I don't use all the bits of this, but the ones I do use are essential. Photoshop is by far the best photo/graphic design app on the market today. I literally couldn't have done my job for the last 10 years without this software. In Design has everything you could possibly think of to create everything from tri-folds to complete books. It lets you create foot notes, end notes, chapter notes, glossaries, appendices, Tables of Contents and indices. You can set up repeating functions, special forms of word wrap and so much more. Unlike most software packages, this Suite of programs really earns it's keep. (via revolutionarygirl)

The top of the line, guys. They don't get any better than this. Even PC magazine had to admit it. If you want to do any graphic, music, movie stuff, this is essential.
Add on the latest in Windows operating systems and there is NOTHING you can't do. Use the Mac for the business and Windows for the gaming. You'll never go back to just a PC ever again. (via Apple)

There is nothing worse than having to carry a 3lb bag to house a 2lb item! When you're fully charged and going to a meeting, this is the way to go. Even if you have to put the power supply in your pocket, you're still ahead of the game.
