About Me

Antonio Ben Chimol, an Italian designer who spent many years working in the fashion industry in Milan and Paris, is currently based in Barcelona.

He has concentrated on the use of stainless steel, metals, minerals, plastics and a wide range of materials, not conventionally used for costume jewellery, to create timeless collections with an extremely sophisticated and technological air.

His collection also includes the innovative use of technological treatments to pulverised glass, porcelain, different metals and minerals. Antonio Ben Chimol was, 10 years ago, the first designer to introduce the ingenious system of magnetic clasps.

It is the belief of the designer that we humans possess our own, hidden magnetism, an animal magnetism that generates the forces of attraction that enable us to relate to other people and the world that surrounds us.

Antonio Ben Chimol creates what he calls “pure pieces” that compose elegant modular shapes, losing their rigidness and becoming mobile, versatile, adapting to the human silhouette in the form of bracelets, necklaces, belts, or simply decorative objects of matchless beauty.
