About Me

I did my first triathlon in 2001 – Wildflower Olympic. Though my finishing time was nothing to write home about (my 15 year-old steel-framed bike, combined with my inability to pace myself and save a little for the run, both played a part…), I still had a blast!

While competing at Wildflower, I noticed a sea of fun-loving LA Tri Clubbers which, when I moved back to Los Angeles in the fall of 2001, I knew I wanted to be a part of. Fast forward 5 years, and I’ve competed in numerous triathlons, including a few Ironman distance races.

Professionally, I work in Business Development for Yahoo! On the side I am Co-Managing Director of the premier multi-sport club – The LA Tri Club (www.LATriClub.com).

What is the next…

Purchase you’ll make?

I’m due for a new digital Camera after frying the battery on my last one…

Trend in design?

I see leopard print making a big comeback

Car you’d like to own?

My Toyota 4Runner works just fine! But I wouldn’t mind having a 911 parked next to it!

Big step you’d like to make?

Before triathlon consumed my life, I was really into taking guitar lessons. I think it’s high-time I took the big step back into guitar lessons!

Fad that will fade?

Leisure suits. ;)

Vacation you’ll take?

Thailand/Bali

Thing you’re going to fight for?

Global warming seems like something we should all fight for.

Hollywood blockbuster going to be about?

Snakes overtaking a plane…nah, that would never happen…

Life you’ll lead?

One day I’d like to produce sports-related videos. Writing a book is another thing that’s on my to-do list…

Fountain of youth?

Triathlon, or any sort of aerobic fitness! …and a bunch of friends to do it with!

Book you’ll read?

The 2nd half of the Tipping Point that I have yet to read

Thing that will change the world?

They day we have ubiquitous, reliable, and free high-speed internet access, anytime, anywhere (on the beach, in your car, in a plane, wherever) and internet connectivity between all of them, will be a pretty big deal. Decent portable devices, mobile or otherwise – at an affordable price -- would be cool too.

Guilty-pleasure food in which you’ll indulge?

Anything salty…French Fries are good. I could also live on chips and guacamole!
