Purchase you’ll make?

A Macbook Pro

Trend in design?

Reduction in scale. Small will be fashionable as more people move to cities--small cars, small living spaces, small housewares, furniture, etc.

Car you’d like to own?

A Maybach, with a driver of course. Naturally that goes against my reduction in scale theory, but have you ever seen a Maybach?

Big step you’d like to make?

To author a cookbook of the recipes of the food I really cook-natural, healthy, pure foods.

Fad that will fade?

Giant SUV’s are a thing of the past--stars are buying hybrids, soon everyone will own one.

Vacation you’ll take?

Playa del Carmen, Mexico-There are a thousand reasons they call it the Mayan Riviera!

Thing you’re going to fight for?

To make people realize that they do have the time to cook well.

Life you’ll lead?

It’s a mystery and I prefer it that way.

Fountain of youth?

Water. I try to drink 3 liters a day.

Guilty-pleasure food in which you’ll indulge?

Chocolate. Preferably bittersweet and in mass quantities.

My sons, Ian and Caleb, or wife, Rebecca - it depends which one I will see first.
