Rihanna's gearing up to release a new album, which is reportedly more upbeat and fun than Rater R. I don't think people were ready for the darker sound that was this album but I think it was amazing. I do use an iPod like most people, but I still prefer to have the tangible CD format for my music (I upload my CDs to iTunes and download them onto my iPod from there). "My husband thinks he is a rockstar, so you can imagine his delight when I opened this at my baby shower. I was skeptical at first, but have come to enjoy the melodies on this album. They actually sound like lullabies while staying true to the original versions of the songs. It looks like I have a future rock star on my hands!"
"And the lovers that you sent for me
Didn't come with any satisfaction guarantee
So I return them to the sender
And the note attached will read
How I love to hate you
I love to hate you
I love to hate you

"Last I heard, Chester French wasn't that cool back in 2008, but this album is freaking good. They've got kind of a Beach Boys meets Belle and Sebastian thing going on, but with unexpected jazz rifts and electronica."
