Recycle Battery Box

Description
We used to just throw our used batteries in a gallon baggie until we got around to recycling them. I found this at Giant Robot and its a much more attractive solution.
Eco-friendliness doesn't have to be ugly! Or something like that.

TX T3C477 Watch

Description
Switch between 24 time zones with a press of a button. That's cool, but honestly I don't travel enough to need that, I just want people to think I do.
This watch manages to both look very complicated and minimalist at the same time. The really appeals to me. (via Uncrate)

Ban Shower Fresh Deodorant

Description
Okay, this is one of the oddest things I have recommended, but damn it smells good. It inspires the type of activity that the Febreze commercials joke about: you can't help but take a whiff once and a while.

Discovered this artist at Long Beach Comicon this weekend. I love his work: I bought a couple prints and a t-shirt.

I have a soft part in my heart for toys that are just "wrong." This certainly fits the bill.

Bosch PS30-2A 3/8-Inch Cordless Drill

Description
Light, powerful, and quick charging -- what else is there to know?
This lithium-ion battery drill has a comfortable grip and is good, all-around workhorse. I have plaster walls in my house, so my primary uses are drilling into masonry and driving deck screws.

Helicopter with Video Recorder
2 people recommended this item
Description
This $15,000 helicopter allows you to gather all types of remote data (HD video, GPS, barometric pressure, and more). That alone would be cool.
What is really cool is that you were video glasses that allow you to see what the helicopter sees. I can think of a million uses for this, none of them good :-)
I want.

Samsung Airave for Sprint
First to recommend
Description
Okay, I don't actually have Sprint but if I did I would want this device from what I have heard people saying. This basically gives you much better cell phone coverage at home if you have spotty reception where you are. It is a mini cell phone tower that is supposed to be very easy to configure.

Livescribe Smartpen
13 people recommended this item
Description
Just as the name describes, this is the smartest pen in history! Using the LiveScribe notebooks or journals (about $5.00 a piece) you can use the LiveScribe pen to write down notes and also play back the audio associated with your notes!
With the LiveScribe system you just start writing and the audio immediately records. To play back the audio, just tap the play box along the bottom of the notebook page. You can speed up or slow down the audio, plus you can click a word in your notes and jump straight to that audio section.
Better yet, you can download your notes and audio directly to you computer which allows you to search for keywords in your notes and also share your notes with friends. This device is a MUST HAVE for students, business people, and journalists!

Blankyclip baby blanket clip
First to recommend
Description
Okay, so I no longer need these as my kids are teenagers now, but I love this idea. Keeping out babies' blankets off the ground was a constant battle. Eventually you just get over the idea of having a clean blanket as an achievable goal.
These needs clips are cute, cuddly and look effective. I think these will be one of my favorite baby shower gifts now.

Gifts for drummers and wannabe drummers
Updated May 15, 2009
I've been drumming for a year but still fall squarely in the wannabe drummer camp. I can do a decent roll, but can't handle any...
