Gama-Go Tooth Fairy Pillow

First to recommend

Description

I just found one more reason the folks at Gama-Go are possessed of pure genius. Randomly picked from a selection of designs made from recycled irregular Gama-Go tees, the Tooth Fairy Pillow features a pocket sewn into the underside that is made specifically to hold loose teeth. Tooth Fairy's had to work a little harder in my day, but this is still awesome.

Papel Picardo Fabric

First to recommend

Description

A full party scene from Alexander Henry, this Papel Picardo pattern depicts skeletons playing music, riding bikes, and courting each other. The stark black and white imagery plays well against the good-time scenes, expressing the grim/festive duality of the holiday really well.

Pink Skull Candle Holder

This handpainted candle holder brings together the best visual aspects of Dia de los Muertos -- grim, wide-eyed death and vibrant, fun coloring. This piece is further covered with a clear sealant to make it a little easier to clean up after its attacked by candlewax.

This Calacas con Verde pendant plays up the folk aspects of Dia de los Muertos art so well. Recycled bottle caps are utilized as canvas for paper mache renditions of Day of the Dead iconography, all handmade so no two are exactly alike.

Day of the Dead Wedding Box

First to recommend

Description

Such an awesome customization of standard cigar box, this Day of the Dead wedding box is a stylized keepsake box that will house your jewelry, your stash, or wallet and car keys. The exterior pattern is a motley mix of cowboy and skeletal themes with raw edges underneath that makes the piece feel just a little tougher.

Dia de los Muertos Cookie-Note

First to recommend

Description

This is a pretty tidy Dia de los Muertos cookie, and you might find exploring a Mexican bakery leading up to November a little more rewarding. Still, a lime sugar cookie shaped like s skull with flowers on its head has real appeal and is more fun than scary, making it appropriate for tots.

Day of the Dead Hand Soap

First to recommend

Description

It's hard to overestimate the value little details like Day of the Dead hand-poured bar soap can have when throwing a themed party or decorating your bathroom with a Dia de los Muertos slant. The three colors -- white, orange, and pink -- are scented vanilla, orange, and rose, respectively, and come in a handful of unique forms.
