David Stern is a Venture Partner at Clearstone Venture Partners, a leading venture capital firm where he focuses on technology enabled consumer services.
Before joining Clearstone, Mr. Stern served as President and Founder of M Networks, an educational media company focusing on providing practical business technology education to small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Previous to founding M Networks, David spent time as a licensing lawyer and business development executive at Universal Studios (working with children's entertainment properties), an entreprenuer at the idealab! family of companies, and at leading health care software companies Model N and Veranto.
In addition, David currently serves as an board member or observer of SoonR , (www.soonr.com) Spock Networks (www.spock.com) and The Rubicon Project and has spent countless days and nights working with start-ups across disciplines (legal, funding, strategic development and business development, staffing, M&A).
David is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of San Diego School of Law.
