I’m a 40-something year old in working on 2nd career in toffee making through my new business, Le Bec Sucré (1st career is in financial services). Weekends are spent working in a commercial kitchen perfecting toffee recipes of various flavors (coffee, spice, ginger, macadamia/coconut). Other passions are horses (hunter/jumper rider, but for now have hung up the reins to devote time to candy making), and my dog, Murray. I also like to knit, but find it almost too distracting. Once I get started, that’s ALL I want to do.
