I am a professional kayaker and a full time undergraduate at Princeton University majoring in Politics. I also work with South Main, a company building a New Urbanist development on the banks of the Arkansas River in Buena Vista, Colorado. South Main will be a traditional, mixed-use neighborhood built immediately adjacent to one of the longest whitewater parks in the world. I am passionate about New Urbanism as a way to build true community and reduce our country’s dependence on the automobile and, consequently, foreign oil.
