Description

If I could, I would buy this just to put in a corner of my office. It is that cool. Works as both a binocular for terrestrial viewing and as a telescope for sky watching. Really impressive.

Description

There's something about the idea of a wooden telescope used to study the sun that just appeals to me. I'm not sure surreal is the word I want to use but its the only one I can think of at the moment. You would expect to see this thing sitting in a case in a museum of modern art. That it is actually a very useful and completely scientific tool is just bonus.
