For this recommendation: Goji berries.

I'm thinking of trying them as a topping on my home cultered Kefir. What do you think?

An artist turned chef.

I collect spices, and continually use them. I’m constantly looking for new stuff so I can support new producers and bring my customer the best ingredients. I believe you are what you eat, so eat the best. I didn’t always cook. My background is in art and design. I took pictures of rock stars and was an art director, photographer, and designer. I have a photo in the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame and have had my work published in Rolling Stone. I moved to New York in 1980 and during that time I became a creatve director at a publishing company. I’m really an artist who followed my passion and answered an ad in the New York Times to be a chef. My first job in food was as a chef in 1986 with no prior experience!
