For this recommendation: Black Box game by Parker Brothers.

I have created an electroic (PC version) of black box. One can create a board size from 2X2 to 19X19 and any number of hide objects from 1 to N (board size). Obviously, some of the combinations are almost impossible to play, but its fun. I'm just putting the finishing touches on it now. leebettilyon@gmail.com

the 1978 parker brothers black box was a mysterious game to me, and ended up being my favourite board game ever! I was always very impressed with the score board which was made of hard plastic. Then you were given a black crayon to mark on the glossy sheet, and then you could wipe it off with a tissue. it was endlessly useful without wasting paper! I wish board games would still do this, but it's the only one i've ever seen!

What is the next…

Purchase you’ll make?

By the time you read this it will have arrived from Amazon so any answer to this question is already obsolete.

Car you’d like to own?

G5. No, not the Pontiac, nor the Mac, nor the Canon, nor the Logitech, nor the howitzer, nor the countries. >>> The Gulfstream V.

Fad that will fade?

This "Internet" thing can't last, can it?

Vacation you’ll take?

I work for a startup.

Thing you’re going to fight for?

My momma taught me not to fight.

Secret that’s going to leak?

Amazon EC2!

Life you’ll lead?

'Fraid this is the only one I'm gonna get.

Fountain of youth?

Working for an Internet startup. Hmmm... I'm on my fifth since 1996, and I've been doing web software development since 1993, and I've been on the Internet since the mid 80's. Boy, I'm getting old!

Book you’ll read?

An audio book from Audible.com on my long, slow commute.

Thing that will change the world?

A large meteor or Yellowstone eruption would change a few things around here, but until then I doubt... Oh, sorry, is that too negative? What if I tell you that you'll probably die before that happens? Wait... this isn't going the direction I intended; let me start over...

Guilty-pleasure food in which you’ll indulge?

Sushi (the guilt is in the expense).

Person to whom you’ll say, “I love you”?

One of those people I love.
