Caffeine Free Diet Coke

Description

Sweet fizzy nothingness. With free sodas at work, I think I started drinking a bit too much caffeinated Diet Coke. The Caffeine Free Diet Coke lets me keep up that sip every few habit during certan hours of the day without subjecting my body to the caffeine. I don't think my mind can tell the difference while I'm drinking.

Plantation Style Mint Julep

Description

On my latest trip to Galco's Soda Pop Stop, I decided to try something that was completely different from what I would normally drink. I chose Plantation Style Mint Julep which I have never tried and which, truthfully, sounded a little repulsive. As it turns out this soft drink has a distinct mint jelly flavor. I am not a fan of mint jelly even on lamb, but add the carbonation and a bit of extra sugar and I discovered I do enjoy sipping a cold Plantation Style Mint Julep. I think it would be most refreshing on a hot summer day.

Reed's Extra Ginger Brew

Description

I didn't know soft drinks like this existed. Reed's has combined a fairly hot ginger experience with a sweet pineapple and honey flavor and then carbonated it. I have no idea if this is true "Jamaican Style" as proclaimed on the label, but have determined that I like it. (via Galco's)

Fentimans Ginger Beer

Description

Big spicy hot ginger kick with a nice slow burn in your throat afterwards. The brewing apparently makes it a touch alcoholic (under 0.5%). This drink is imported from England and is not cheap, but definitely an experience worth trying. Sip slowly.

G Pure Energy Drink

Description

I don't normally drink coffee or energy drinks but when a friend gave me a G Pure Energy a few days ago I tried it. I drank it in the early afternoon and didn't get to sleep until 9am the next day. Coincidence? Maybe, but I'm going to be very careful about when I drink my next G Pure Energy. (via notcot)

Chimay Blue

Description

I have not had a Belgian ale I did not enjoy and Chimay Blue is by far the finest. Pick up a large bottle of Chimay Ale Péres Trappistes Grande Réserve at Trader Joes. Very fine value. It is bottled with a cork and it is recommended you use wide-mouthed glasses. (via BJ's Brewhouse)
