About Me
Kirsten Thompson’s love of all things creative began in high school photography. That creative passion continued in college through ceramics, painting, advanced photography and graphic design. Earning her BS degree in Graphic Design, she followed with over 10 years in the design community with a fortune 500 company before landing her biggest challenge, domestic engineer. Raising four boys with her husband in mid-central Minnesota provides her plenty of creative juices for her unique limited edition and most often one-of-a-kind jewelry designs. Kirsten’s earliest pieces years ago used plastics, vintage beads and other found objects. Now her palette includes semi-precious stones including, turquoise, grossular garnet, amazonite, sterling silver, Hill Tribe and Bali silver. “People say my pieces make them feel good. “If the jewelry brings joy and peace, I think maybe it comes from my absolute love of designing it and knowing that my spirit is a part of each one. Maybe the peace comes out from what goes into the work - passion, hope, belief and prayer."
