The first edition of Greenopia™—the urban dweller’s guide to green living was born in Los Angeles on Earth Day 2006 and began immediately to do what I had hoped it would—help people like myself make eco-friendly choices in all aspects of their everyday lives. Now I am thrilled to bring out a San Francisco Bay Area guide, the second in a series that I hope will continue to make the world a greener place, one city at a time.
My wish is that this guide—and this companion website—will inspire you to look for new ways to make your world healthier and happier. By starting with our own lives, I believe we can inspire others to act, and in due course move closer to what we all want—a better world for ourselves and our children.
