For 19 years Goutam has been providing creative direction for a variety of practices from industrial design to interactive services.
As a consultant he has worked on projects for companies including BMW, BroadVision, CBS, Comcast, Electronic Arts, Epson, Frigidaire, GMC, Guess, Honda, IMAX, Infogrammes, Lexus, Mattel, Motorola, Plantronics, QVC Network, Sony, Time Warner, Virgin Interactive and Ziff-Davis.
Goutam has served as a Creative Director in senior management roles at MAG, a $200M private equity fund in the motorcycle industry, at Modem Media on the development and the implementation of global Internet initiatives for General Motors, and at Launch where he was instrumental in the development of their products, branding, and marketing. Goutam simultaneously lead the creative development of interactive advertising for Launch’s clients including ABC, AT&T, Citibank, GAP, Gillette, HBO, Heinz, Intel, Kellogg’s, Mazda, Microsoft, Oldsmobile, Reebok, Sony, Toyota, and Visa.
Projects that Goutam has worked on have received international recognition including AXIS Magazine, the ID Magazine Annual Design Review, the CES Innovations Award, the LG Electronics Design Competition, the New Media Invision Award, the EMMA Award and are in the permanent collections of the Cooper-Hewitt and MoMA museums.
