Description
A Belgian/Trappist brown ale from the Corsendonk monastery who originally started producing beer in the 15 century. Corsendon pater is luscious, has a thick head, is a litte starchy, notes of fruit and even undertones of chocolate. Delicious.

Description
Chimay is probably one of the best known Trappist breweries and deservedly so. Chimay Blue is my fav of all the Chimay beers: rich, creamy, complex. I love that it comes corked, makes beer drinking seem so high-end ;-)

Description
This is one great beer- rich, dark, great flavor w/a lot of subtlety. Ommegang is both old school and modern in that it is Belgian beer brewed in upstate New York. I also like the name- it has onomatopoetic appeal, sounds fun and delicious.
