Description
An absolute summer/pool party essential: floating around your pool w/your ipod floating next to you. The Atlantic Ego floating ipod speaking system is totally up to the task- it looks super-cool in its quasi-industrial look and it sounds pretty good too (not really fair to compare it to high-end regular/non-floating speakers but sounds a lot better than you might guess.)
Highly recommended- I love how ipods can really go anywhere these days

Description
These are truly awesome earphones. They effectively block out background sound w/out forcing you to blast out your eardrums. The sound quality is very clear w/surprisingly good bass for such tiny speakers (I listen to a lot of electronica w/pounding beats so good bass is essential for me). Handles more delicate classical music well too.
Also, they are super-comfortable and lightweight- ideal for endurofest rides and runus. The extralong cord is nice but can get tangled a bit too easily (via grenadefishing)

This is one awesome little device. I love my nano but it seems to run out of power too easily. I guess I could bring a charger everywhere but I think just having the long-lasting battery is a more elegant solution. Great for extended outdoor trips.
Plus, the device is eco-friendly so I like that too. (via Treehugger)

Description
While wandering through Macworld (and after viewing a zillion iPod accessories later), I stumbled upon these little fellas, known as TETRAN, in the back corner of the exhibit hall. There's something vaguely satisfying about seeing that cute spikey thing all wrapped up in those white iPod headphone wires with the earbuds shoved in its mouth. Although the website claims that they're for storing your earbud headphones and as a by product of design, serve as a tool for stress relief, they're really just iPod consumerist criticism all wrapped up in yummy cute goodness. Perfect! They're about $13 each and come in Pink, Green, Yellow, and Orange. However, I did see a prototype for a glow in the dark one at the booth, so check their website for those in the future.

Bose TriPort Headphones

Description
My favorite headphones. I know most people prefer the earbud style, but I feel you simply get much better sound, especially in the base range, and and not as likely to blow out your eardrums w/the old-school style of headphones. The Bose TriPort are the best I have seen/heard for the price range (~US$149). It is true they are more bulky so travelling w/them is harder, but worth the effort, I think. Too bad they don't make a folding version of these.

Description
Marware makes my fav cases for my Nano- good construction, reasonably priced (@ least in comparison to other Nano sleeves), and good design. I like the SportSuit the best- slim form factor, control pad works well thru the plastic face, and neoprene that looks cool while protecting the nano.
Great for travel and outdoor sports.

No big surpises here- I love the Nano and use it extensively in my car to listen to podcasts and audiobooks. Because I don't have a direct connection to my car stereo, the audio quality in my car is not great for music but it is fine for spoken word stuff.
The software is also good in that it remembers where you were in a track so you can skip around betweenn audiobooks w/out losing your place.
