Kick Ass Karma t-shirt

Description

OK- this is def my next purchase as it is hilarious and I dig the underlying warrior ethos there. Nothing like a little kung fu karma to slay those obstacles of mind and material

I totally dig my new grenade cufflinks by Robin Rotentier. They even have a little pin on them that hangs loose. Totally awesome when either feeling explosive like a lovebomb ;-)

Men's AIR CARSEN CHUKKA Shoes

Updated Nov 28, 2007

1st to recommend

Description

Now that I am a grown up, I am expected to wear shoes other than sneakers occasionally, especially for work-related activities where a premium is placed on looking "professional." Well, sometimes I can get there and wear a suit happily, but generally, I am most interested in being comfortable. After discovering Cole Haan Air Nike shoes, I refuse to ever wear any non-Air dress shoes. In this case, the cole haan chukka boots above are not really "dressy" so much as they make a pair of shorts and a sweater seem a bit more respectable @ work. And they are comfortable w/their cushy Air tech in them. Good soft boots for more casual days at the office, go well w/jeans, cords, or shorts.

Breitling - Emergency Watch

Updated Nov 6, 2007

2 people recommended this item

Description

I am sporting my new Breittling Emergency and I totally love it. Granted and fortunately, I generally don't need an emergency distress beacon w/110 radius on a daily basis, it is still a good feeling to know I could let any plane flying overhead know exactly where I am and that I needed help asap. The breitling Emergency is designed to offer downed pilots an additional beacon in case their plane crashes. I am not a pilot but I am a mountain biker, climber, and surfer, sports which often take me to places where there are few other people around. If I ever crash hard on my bike and am off the trail in a heap, stranded climbing, or, as was the case when I surfing in Indonesia, afraid our boat was going to sink after hitting a reef @ night 100 miles off the coast of Sumatra, I would be really glad to have the extra beacon on me.

plus, the Breitling Emergency looks cool (I got it w/an orange face). Stylish enough to wear w/a suit but still sporty. Has an alarm too which is a must-have feature for me.

Jan Leslie - Bee Cuff Links

Updated Jan 20, 2007

Description

I dig cufflinks and I dig bees. (I love honey and I think the whole collective intelligence thing that bees do is just plain cool.)

My wife, Kira, has excellent taste, and she got these Jan Leslie cufflinks for me in silver. (I am not a big fan of gold, plus they are soooo pricey in gold).

Anyway, these are hands-down my favorite cufflinks and I wear them a lot. People often compliment me on them as well. I definitely want to get more Jan Leslie cufflinks. (via KiraGould)

lululemon athletica mens yoga boardshorts

Updated Dec 5, 2006

1st to recommend

Description

I have about 5 pairs of Lululemon's mens boardshorts in various color combinations (mostly black and something else). Lululemon makes great clothes for yoga and I have spent countless hours sweating in their boardshorts during my mysore ashtanga practice.

Lululemon's boardshorts are great because they are super comfortable, the liner wicks away sweat (even when it is pouring out of me), and they are super-stretchy. (one of my pet peeves w/athletic gear is when it somehow constrains me and impacts performance. Lululemon's stuff has never impeded my yoga practice in any way. So I give it a big thumbs up for that (and yes, I know, that Type A stressing over performance in yoga is not so yogic, but at least I know that, right ;-)

Anyway, if you are looking for cool-looking and comfortable shorts to get your endorphin fix in, I recommend Lululemon's

Sonia Spencer Barcode Cufflinks

Updated Oct 13, 2006

Description

I love cufflinks- a bit of bling w/out having to wear a lot of uncomfortable clothes. Cufflinks are, I think, the new power tie. Good cufflinks can connote sophistication, considered taste, and often a touch of boldness w/out hassle of neckwear. And I dig these barcode cufflinks. I like the autumn ones best but listed others so you all can see the variety

Description

"We make the little shit better," say the watchmakers at Nixon. And after seeing their newest design, we can't help but agree. Stylish, water-resistant and precise, the Rotolog is one of our favorite new timepieces. The watch boasts impressive-sounding technology ("custom right-read Direct Time Japanese quartz with LED") and a sleek inlay of real walnut wood in stainless steel, and it's available from Nixon for an affordable $200.
