I love this idea. But I do wish they would make the CF card soon! Just shoot and it can be downloaded to any computer with a simple wi-fi connection. During your shoot or after. Either way, it cuts out the middle man, the card reader.

Disappearing St Louis

Description

This is an amazing book to give to any cityphile or anyone who has lived in St Louis past or present. It's such a harsh look at what used to be bustling parts of the city, and the downturn they have taken. St Louis is working to revitalize but some areas are in need of a lot more than just fun places to eat or drink. They need help on a huge scale. Meanwhile, the photos in this book are just amazingly haunting yet beautiful all the same.

Another find at the St Louis Rock and Roll Craft Show was teriko. I was just in love with the unique use of old photos, given new and light-hearted life with the addition of adorable vintage doll heads. There are so many variations, be sure to check them all out or you'll keep finding your favorite after you've finalized your purchase. But then I guess you can always just start a new cart!

HEYERSTAR POTTERY

Description

I ran into this artist at the last St Louis Rock and Roll Craft Fair and just fell in love with her use of retro designs on all of her pottery. The shapes may be more modern on some of the serving vessels but they still have that retro feel with the patters. My personal favorite are those featuring the "starburst" pattern.

Xhilaration Wrap Bangle Watch - Silver

I love how this watch just goes so well with my other silver cuff bracelets. It makes wearing a watch part of my jewelry again. It's comfortable and gets lots of compliments. Plus, it's really inexpensive.
Only downside, I tend to wear my watches backwards (face on the inside of my wrist) but this watch is just too cool to turn around.
