The Daily Groupon | Coupons, Discounts, and Deals

First to recommend

Description

I recently temporarily moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma for a summer internship. I wanted to find a cool way to try local food (because we all know food is a huge part of how you experience culture) but at the same time not break the bank. Groupon has been amazing!!! One of my favorite features is that rather than mailing the certificates to you, you can print them off which means you can use them the following day. Very convenient when you're new in town and not exactly sure what your mailing address is! ;) The deals change daily and range from retail, to spa services, to gym classes and of course food. I've gotten one for a really neat coffee house that grows and roasts their own coffee, which I now frequent but would've never known about without groupon. You've got to keep tabs on your e-mail, though because the deals change every day!

Mon KEYS - Key caps

Description

I picked up a set of these along with a mini Starbucks gift card that fits goes on a key-chain for my cousin's 16th birthday and it was an absolute hit! So cute and fun! Learning to drive can seem super grown up and intimidating, and this was a great way to acknowledge the child in her, as well as the wonderful grown up she is becoming. :)

These are so cute + sustainable! Who doesn't want to eat with dinosaur utensils? I can't think of anyone! They are made of bamboo, which is so earth friendly and the design is just plain fun! Whether your child is an herbivore, omnivore, or carnivore they will love this set!

I think these are so smart, especially for mommies of kids who tend to leave their coats on the floor. Super cute and easy to personalize. The site offers free shipping, and the 17.00 is probably worth the piece of mind they will provide. I'd even get one for the dog's leash and put the dog's picture in it so it'd be like a cute little family portrait! Love the idea!

Recycled Red Stripe Beer Bottle Drinking Glasses

Description

These are so cheap, unique, and green! Made out of re-purposed beer bottles, these cups are strong and buying them would mean you are supporting a small artisan, which is way cooler than supporting Walmart.

These little borders are fabbity-fab. Whether you put them in a kids room and encourage them to color on the walls, or even a grown up room, there are tons of different pattern and base color options which allow these to function in almost any space. Love it!

D5000 from Nikon

Description

I recently purchased this camera, and it's beautiful! A perfect camera for someone new to SLR cameras, or a more experienced photographer. Has a self-cleaning feature, and a super fun "flippy screen" (that's not the technical term, but that's what I call it) which allows you to view what your picture will look like no matter the angle you're taking it from. Be sure to shop around for the best deal (craigslist, daily digital deal, and ebay are all worth a shot). Keep in mind you also need to purchase accessories: an SLR compatible memory card, a good case, and insurance are all things you probably shouldn't skimp on. It's definitely an investment, but a very worthwhile one.
