Chocolove Chocolate Bars

First to recommend

Description

take high-quality dark chocolate, mix with innovative texture and flavour combinations, and whee! you've got Chocolove bars. the cherry & almond is amazing, with the crunchy almonds and chewy cherries perfectly setting off the smoothness of the 55% dark chocolate. try the orange peel, crystallized ginger, or raspberry bars -- the tartness of the fruit makes the chocolate flavour explode. plenty of other varieties abound, but if you start with these, you can't go wrong.
plus, there's a love poem printed inside every wrapper -- so you can get cultured while you indulge... or make your feelings very deliciously tangible for a special someone.

Sticky Bumps Surf Wax

5 people recommended this item

Description

there are a lot of surf wax brands out there, but this one beats them all. not only does it do exactly what good surf wax is supposed to do -- give you traction on your board -- but it also really stands up to the elements, staying effective on your board for quite some time. it doesn't immediately become gooey buildup, or leave chunky white balls of dirty waxy crud all over your surf rack. even better, these bars are really melt-resistant -- you can throw them in the back of your car and actually still use something resembling a bar when you get to the beach.
and -- extra added bonus -- they smell unbelievably good. girl surfers, beware -- the smell of this board wax has been known to garner even more male attention than just the sight of you paddling out in your bikini...

Description

there are a lot of cordless vacs out there, but you cannot beat this one for power, efficiency, and price. no more hair on the bathroom floor! no more coffee grounds getting stuck in the grooves between the tiles on the kitchen counter! no more random dirt hiding in crevices in the car! this powerful little guy sucks up dust, dirt, and more. it recharges fast and can stay off-charge for days without losing power. it's easy to empty and the filter is a breeze to clean. and the price is absolutely right.

Henckels "Pro S" 9-Piece Knife Block Set

First to recommend

Description

A great knife can go a long, long way. If you love to cook, of course you'll want good knives without breaking the bank. If you hate to cook, you'll especially want good knives that don't break the bank, because a good knife can drastically reduce your kitchen time & frustration. Henckels makes consistently good knives, but their "Professional S" series strikes a balance of top-notch quality and great value. They don't often need sharpening, and they hold up under lots of abuse. Buy them in a set with the wooden block and you'll save a bundle.

Nantucket Chocolatier Cranberry Creations Chocolate Covered Cranberries

First to recommend

Description

just got back from a trip out to Nantucket...sure, the seafood was great, but these chocolate-covered cranberries are INCREDIBLE. the combination of handmade dark chocolate (or milk, or white) with the tartness of the locally-harvested cranberry is to die for. just be careful -- since they're so tiny, it's easy to eat a whole bag! you can order from the website if you can't make it out to the island...

what would a workout be like if you had to do it in silence? chances are you wouldn't be taht motivated, right? fitpod.com is actually an online community for people interested in the intersection of fitness and music, but the best part of it is the free podcast. every week, dj steve lets you download an hour's worth of pumping music, organised by bpm (beats per minute -- how fast the music is), absolutely FREE. this has revolutionized my workouts -- i exercise faster, harder, and much happier than ever before.

coppeneur chocolate bars

First to recommend

Description

this is possibly the best dark chocolate bar i've ever had. it's from a family plantation in Ecuador, but the distribution company, Coppeneur, is German. they also feature chocolate bar flavours like applestrudel bourbon, pumpkin caramel, and chili whiskey, to name a few. unfortunately, i have only found these in Germany, or online at "Choco Therapy" (see link). if anyone knows of a U.S. distributor, please let me know!

Nutella

37 people recommended this item

Description

Nutella is an amazing hazelnut chocolate spread that is so smooth rich, smooth and creamy! It is really a delicious treat that holds its own on any baked good. On the streets of Paris you can get crepes filled with Nutella, sometimes with slices of banana.

Though this indulgent European treat has been around the states for a long while, it continues to enjoy only modest popularity with only those 'in the know.' Back home, Nutella is popular like Peanut Butter but it has the verasility of a jam - you can (and people do) put it on almost anything.

Give into the guilty pleasure. You might even find yourseld on the couch with a spoon and a jar of Nutella.

Nutella is available in many parts of the country. First try the 'ethnic' section of your supermarket and if you cant find it head to your international stores. Youre bound to run into it. If you really cant, Trade Joes sells a nice version of Nutella though its not quite the same.
