I have not taken an actual, physical vacation since before my son was born. Really. But my wanderlust remains as strong as ever. And, now, thanks to the myriad of websites that provide pictures, planning resources, travel guides and direct contact with tour companies all over the globe, getting away from it all is just a mouse click away.

The scent of pine, a roaring fire, maple candy . . . these are just a few of my favorite holiday things. And the list only gets bigger as time goes on.
