Fair Trade month reminds us that while the Fair Trade concept has caught on and most are familiar, the search for products and labeling are still lagging. Fair Trade is about guaranteeing workers decent working conditions and revenues, sustainability (of market and environment), and development. One (of the many) great things about Fair Trade products is their tendency to be unique as each product is normally handmade. Imagine having a one-of-a-kind good that supports so many causes-not a bad way to shop.
