HaberVision Prima Goggles
2 people recommended this item
Description
Test-driving a product from the team at ThisNext is perhaps one of my favourite things -- no, not perhaps -- it IS one of my favourite things. So during the winter when I received these Habervision goggles to test, I was really excited, because to test them, I had to go snowboarding.
I know, what a task, right?
These goggles are hopetastic. At the top of the face frame are several small, covered slits -- perfect for letting in fresh air -- to prevent the goggles from fogging up when you're on the slopes. Are they effective? YES. They worked wonders. My Habers didn't fog up once.
These Habervision goggles are also polarized, which is great, because the glare from the angle of the mountain coupled with the glare from the snow can be deadly on a sunny day. The tint of my goggles did dullen the brightness, but didn't make everything unnecessarily dark. The lens is coloured a holographic blue and purple, but my eyes saw everything in a browny-orange-ish hue. Sweet!
The strap on my Habers was super comfortable; it was snug -- but not uncomfortable -- on my head.
My only quam with these goggles is that the front frame didn't perfectly fit to my face. This was not visible, because the polymer frame is lined with double-layer face foam, so it didn't bother me too much. (I was more concerned with aesthetics than practicality).
All in all, I rate Haber's 'Prima' goggles to be HOPETASTIC! I will DEFINITELY be wearing them again next year. They provided me with superior face protection, they look pretty darn hot, and they boosted my confidence on the slopes -- so it doesn't really matter that my snowboarding skills are mediocre at best.

There is something sugary sweet about this colourful bangle by Mark Davis.
Check out that smooth bakelite, set off by an array of pink hues.
I especially love the subtle stones set in white diamonds set in white gold -- in sunlight they're sure to sparkle!

This small hourglass from Vivre is such a conversation piece.
I love it because it's unique, and when I first saw it, I thought it looked like something from Tiffany & Co.
AND, best of all, it's uber-affordable.

Multicoloured acrylic with an animal print featured throughout, this two and a half inch thick Dior tiger bangle is red hot -- or at least pink.
I especially love the brushed gold metal logo that's striped across the bangle.
This is arm candy at its best.

14-karat gold-plated brass, this set of enamel bangles by Juicy Couture is a chic example of how bangles should be worn: staggered in width, and various in design.
One bangle features a chain-link design (in navy or red), with two gold-plated bangles in thinner widths.

What's not to love about purple?! This one inch thick bangle by J.Crew is absolutely regal in royal purple.
Flat, shiny, and so stylishly simple, this arm candy would look fabulous with worn with some thinner gold bangles.
Note: The crisp aqua colour looks shockingly like a Tiffany & Co. piece, only priced reasonably at $35.
