Description

Patent leather is flashy, and adds a great element to any shoe or bag. I like these orange stiletto heels by Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti. They're super-strappy, and super high (measuring in at 5-inches - WOW!), and would look super cute with a mini dress, wide-leg pants, or even with opaque black or grey tights.

Each ankle strap has enameled buckle, and these shoes feature fully padded insoles.

What is with me and metallic leather? Maybe I'm just longing for warmer temperatures.

I'm also longing for these uniquely chic Roberto Cavalli T-strap sandals. The design alone is super-sexy, but add to each in-sole a cheetah print, and encircle each heel with a dazzling gold serpent, and you've got some seriously flashy sandals.

KORS Michael Kors | 'Danger' Pump - Yellow - Nordstrom

Description

I generally find most of Michael Kors's designs to be classy and fairly conservative. He's never really come out with anything that's too over the top.

Or so I thought.

When I spotted these lemon yellow cutout heels, I had to double-check who designed then. More modern-mod than classic conservative, these open-toe wedges are all gloss in a bright patent leather finish.

And though they stand only 3 1/2" in height, their fetching colour and cutouts add to the illusion of towering tall.

I adore the colour green, so it's fitting these Gucci pumps caught my eyes.

All sugary sweet patent leather and a 3 3/4 inch heel, I'm having visions of finding these shoes under my Christmas tree on December 25.

Or in my stocking.

Description

I love the idea of putting black and navy together, and making it work. It's not seen often, but whenever I see it, I love it.

I also love patent leather, platforms, and anything made in Italy, so it's only natural I'd be drawn to these pumps.

And did I mention I love geniuses? Well I do. Especially ones named Marc Jacobs.

They'd be too much paired with Christian Lacroix's strapless mini dress, but these Miu Miu jewelled pumps would add just the right dash of 'le drame' to an all-black ensemble.

Love the patent. Love the jewelled heel. Love the peep toe.

I'm still head over heels -- pun intended -- for the stark contrast of black and white that was all over the S/S 07 runways, and I hope that every woman finds some delightful way this spring/summer season to incorporate it into her wardrobe.
