Fair Trade Tree-Free Cruelty-Free Leather World Journal

First to recommend

Description

As a vegetarian of 15 years, I always had to avoid leather products. Until now, that is.... with this elegant cruelty-free leather journal! That's right, these cows died of natural causes in India (where cows are highly revered and not eaten). In addition, these journals are made by hand in a Fair Trade artisan cooperative, and the paper is tree-free, made of recycled cotton scraps. Wow, could you possibly get any more eco-friendly?!

About japana:

After college, I journeyed to Japan for three years, for the adventure and to teach English, then arrived back in Chicago, where I lived until 2006, when I got married and moved to rural Michigan to create a hobby farm after 30 years of living in the city! After finishing my Masters in teaching, I worked for a few years, then "retired" to work from home and try to earn a living from our land.

We opened a green living store recently, The Greater Green, and are always on the lookout for new ways to live the green life! That is the journey I am now embarking on...We are currently seeking organic certification for our small farm, selling veggies at Farmer's Markets, and trying to spread the word about the green life. Check us out at www.thegreatergreen.com!
