Sophisticated people are into green.
I have been working at magazines like Vanity Fair, Details, Mademoiselle, and In Style Home (where I was a co-founding editor) for longer than I'd like to say, and I've written for Vogue, The New York Times Book Review and Salon. I was also the editor of Organic Style magazine, the first glossy to bring green to the mainstream in an aspirational-lifestyle way. Sprig.com, my latest venture, is a new fashion/home/beauty/food/lifestyle website by WashingtonPost.Newsweek Interactive. Since the launch two months ago, Sprig.com has had a quarter million sign-ups. Sprig is for the smart woman who wants to integrate a little more green (and fun!) into her stylish, modern, busy life. With how-to and expert video, a vast database of thousands of products and services, the latest news and features (and more coming), Sprig helps you find and feed your eco. Sprig believes that inspiring 95% of the population to become 5% more green has more positive impact on the environment then the other way around.
