Celebrity Scale

Updated Oct 11, 2007

Description

Unless you're trying to loose weight, and need the motivation of seeing numbers drop, scales are pretty lame. If you look the way you want, feel the way you want, and are a healthy person, it shouldn't matter what the number is. This scale has a little fun with that idea, and gives you your weight in terms of celebrities (like Gizmo from the movie Gremlins, and Mr. Ed). Totally awesome. (via Neatorama)

Description

If you're just getting started with physical fitness, you probably don't want to drop tons of money on all your new gadgets and gear. This little USB pedometer will cover everything you need at the beginning, and costs less than $20. Plus, it's compatable with your computer, so you can make spreadsheets (or whatever), to keep track of your progress over the long term. Cool! (via The Budget Techie)

Description

This super thin pedometer is so small it'll fit in your wallet. So you can keep tabs on how much your walking (and how many calories you're burning) day to day, without attaching some weird device to your arm or ankle. Awesome! (via Shiny Shiny)

MP3 Bike Bib

Description

This product's price probably rules it out for anyone who isn't a serious cylist, but it's so cool I thought I'd include it anyway. Instead trying to tap buttons on your iPod while you're riding down the street, you can press the embedded controls in the shorts.

Expensive? Yes. But I just can't resist clever design. (via productdose)
